As a result of comprehensive research done by OCZ in the field of MLC technology, the Z Drive will be a new addition to the SSD line up, featuring an enormous storage capacity of 1Tera Byte!
The Z-drive is designed by harnessing the added advantages of the MLC technology, featuring a 256MB of local cache, along with several other charming specs.
It will come with following specs:
- Maximum Read speed of 600MBps
- Maximum write speed of up to 500MBps
- 256MB of DDR II memory with ECC protection
- PCI-Express x8 interface
However, there’s no word on the pricing of this massive gadget yet, but you can surely guess that it’s going to bear a hefty price tag for sure!!
