More 1.5TB SATA Hard Drives to come, this time it’s I-O Data in action

As everyone is well aware of the fact that the market for high capacity hard drives is indeed booming up like hell, so this time it is I-O Data who has decided to mint some money following the trend.


Therefore I-O Data is planning to launch its own massive 1.5TB storage capacity hard drive. This drive, which is soon going to be launched by I-O Data, will directly compete with Seagate’s Barracuda 7200.11 1.5TB hard drive.

Although not much is known about the technology, it is known that it provides an impressive rotational speed of 7,200RPM.


On the down side, I-O Data’s 1.5TB drive a hefty price tag of $320, which is way above Seagate’s price-tag of $120.
