The Taiwan companies are on a roll this year! With the release of World’s fastest DDR3 memory kit by Gingle, another Taiwanese company, gained huge fame and now it’s G.Skill’s turn to get their share of fame in the industry of solid state disks as they unleashed a hot new 128GB SSD!
G.Skill Taiwan has come out with a new SSD boasting of economical ultra performance, as these undeniably affordable ultra performance SATA II 2.5″ SSD’s are based on NAND MLC flash storage medium.
They come in a couple of flavors; 64GB as well as 128GB storage capacity.
Basically these disks are designed for the customers, who are in search of a cost effective, ultra reliable and power efficient SSD storage solution!
These SSDs are covered with a strong metal alloy housing, and hence provide ultimate protection to the valuable data incase of any mishaps during travel.
Its highly power efficient nature boosts up the battery life allowing longer on the go usage and it supports 155MB/sec read and 90MB/sec write speed, and less than 0.2ms access time.
As of now there’s no idea about the tentative price tag these cool SSD’s would bear!
