Yeah don’t take it as a joke as indeed Intel has decided to launch
dual-core Atom 330 processor in September.
Intel has announced the release of dual core version of its Atom processor next month and the Atom 330 is the first dual core CPU under Atom brand, and will sport a core clock speed of 1.6GHz.
The chip features 533FSB speed and total of 1MB cache. The processor supports 64-bit processing, and provides a TDP of 8W.
The Atom 330 has a handy price tag of just $43 a pop!!
It will be unleashed in market in the month of September, probably the third week!! According to my views it would be a fair deal, keeping the price tag and the features offered :)
