The upcoming featured launch of badly awaited N-96 is now official as Nokia has announced to launch it worldwide in the month of October! It features a brand new concept of Mobile TV, although which is a network-dependent feature, along with GPS, 3G, WLAN, expandable memory currently up to 24 GB, 5-megapixel camera with Double LED flash, Carl Zeiss optic lens and a high quality VGA camera at the front for video calling and self-portrait use!
It also has a built-in motion sensor that automatically rotates the screen when tilted just like N-82 as well as iPhone 3G!
This latest addition in the N-series family will be a successor of N-95 having a two-way slider, providing instant upload to Flickr, Vox, Yahoo and Google along with the another innovative service of access to the Ovi.
Well if you are wondering what “OVI” is all about…!! Then in simpler terms, it is a concept similar to that of the App store. So, as part of the online services Nokia plans to offer, Nokia music store allowing purchasing of music directly on a mobile device or via PC. The tentative tariffs are $1.5 per track and close to $15 per album; the beta version will be launched by year end!
The interesting part of the story is that in order to completely massacre the iPhone 3G, Nokia is planning to soon announce the launch of the next N-series mobile phone with an incredibly astounding 8 Mega-pixel camera and xenon flash, making it simply the best digital camera mobile phone with the highest sized image resolutions and quality. But the prototype has been the conflict and the subject of the hype! The following snapshot is supposedly claimed to be that of the first prototype.
But there is more to it… just have a look at the image below!!
It has been said that mostly this is another prototype of the Nokia N-99 which will be an amazingly flashy 8MP camera mobile phone, also featuring 16Gb Memory card and a price range of around 1000$, lets see what comes out finally.
Although there is no official news regarding the official launch of N-99 as of now, regardless of whatever the prototype may be… expectations are building up big time as just the mere thought of a mobile phone featuring an 8mega-pixel cam is simply phenomenal!!
