vocal IM enabled with iPhone… thanks to Palringo!
Just as the way apple has redefined what a cell phone can do, now their partners are literally planning to redefine everything they possibly can!
At the moment, it’s Palringo, and they have decided enable the vocal IM feature on your iPhone that facilitates vocal instant messaging, text-based as well as picture messaging over the iPhone 3G, What’s more? Its unlimited usage comes as a default feature with your standard subscription!
Palringo facilitates a wide variety of popular messaging services, probably all the famous ones including the Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger, Gadu Gadu, Apple’s iChat for Mac OS X, AOL’s AIM, ICQ, Jabber and even the Windows Live Messenger!
And that’s not the end of the story! Along with one-to-one IM, it’s even possible to have community interaction and you can share voice, text and picture messages with just any one, anywhere, anytime!
Technically speaking, barely 1MB is sufficient for Palringo to exchange the equivalent of about 4,500 SMS messages or 32 picture messages or up to 15 minutes of vocal instant messages!
You don’t even need to struggle much as Palringo is free and easy to download and install from the App store, with no hidden surprise charges or technical glitches till date!
So just rock on with your iPhone 3G and starting enjoying vocal IM to communicate with your near and dear ones even while being on the move!

It looks like a great app to have. Can we record voice messages as they come in?
As of now, I am not 100% sure if such facility is provided as i haven’t checked it out! But mostly it must be able to record, as it is offering so many vocal IM services and unless you record messages they would be a waste ultimately!! So fingers crossed! Hope it does :)
