Samsung Launches Special Beijing Olympics Cell Phones

Samsung electronics is gearing up for the Beijing Olympics by launching special edition phones. The new cell phone, Soul Olympic Special Edition comes in three different models; CH-W590IL, SPH-W5900IL and SPH-W5950IL.

Samsung is an official partner of the Beijing Olympic Games for wireless telecommunications equipment segment. The 2008 Soul Olympic Special Edition handsets are equipped with a metal battery cover embedded with an Olympic logo.

The cell phone is integrated with a 5 Mega Pixel camera and 7.2Mbps HSDPA. Other features known to us so far are the navigation indicators on the keypad and Bluetooth 2.0 function.

The Soul Olympic Special Edition cell phone is quite expensive at $690.
