Say What?
I don’t doubt that I will get ridiculed to no end for titling this writing in such a way. My girlfriend will probably leave me - take all my money, take my dog, take my entire CD collection… But she won’t get my iPod!
Reason #1: PMS = Portable Music Solution.
It has never been easier to take my music with me. My iPod is the perfect companion for a long road-trip, a quick jog, a bike ride or even a hike. It lets me create a soundtrack for my day. No bathroom stops, no hour-long discussion about where to eat dinner, just great tunes.
Reason #2: My iPod is so easy to turn on.
Ok, might be pushing it here, but this thing is SO easy. I don’t think I’ve ever once cracked the manual - or wished that it had one. A simplistic interface to an incredibly feature-packed pocket jukebox. Rating songs, setting up “On-The-Go” playlists, viewing by Artist, Genre, etc… Simple, elegant, fun.
Reason #3: My iPod is hot - and it always will be.
The iPod is a thing of beauty. I know there are other mp3 players out there that look more “techy” or more “futuristic”, but there is something timeless about the sleek, simple look of an iPod. The solid feel that it has adds a nice touch too. I am, and always will be, proud to be seen in public with my iPod.
Reason #4: No “to-do” lists, only playlists.
My iPod actually lives to serve me. All the features (from music to videos to calendars and even games) are there to make my life easier and more enjoyable. And, like all the Apple products I’ve purchased, everything just works. Life with my iPod is so much fun - and so little work.
Reason #5: It won’t cost you three months salary.
Not even close! The most expensive iPod is still less than $400. When you consider the enjoyment that music brings to our lives, this is a small price to pay for such a great contributor to our happiness. An investment in an iPod will never be regretted.

Seriously, Even if you find that the iPod is cheap, It is still to expensive for my taste. You can get a Nice looking Sandisk Sansa for about 30% less then a equivalent iPod, and in addition to that cheaper price, you don’t have to load iCrap, uh, iTunes on your computer.
People really shouldn’t get MP3 players requiring proprietary software.. There’s nothing better then using the explorer to copy your music over to your player.

Why I’d rather have a girl friend than an iPod:
(1) Portable music solution: She can carry my boombox
(2) My girlfriend is so easy to turn on
(3) My girlfriend is hot and always will be
(4) I live for “honey-do” lists
(5) I won’t have to mail her in for repairs or trade her in for one with a larger memory

I’m with this guy. I’ve got a girlfriend, shes a redhead too and freaking hot, but show me where the bartering stall is and I’ll get me some Van Halen’s Panama thanks.
