This Honda Accord ad has a special place in my vault of things that I like. Being an engineer, I marvel at this ad which has been done with such precision. Watch the ad to be as amazed as I am…

Will you marvel more or less at the ad once you’ve watched this 1987 film http://www.tcfilm.ch/lauf_txt_e.htm by two German artists from which Honda’s ad agency clearly stole the idea?
wow! how did those wheels climb up that slope, against gravity?
I feel sorry for anyone so lacking in business sense that they think any agency would build something of that complexity when they can do it all in CG for a fraction of the cost and with a fraction of the skill.
Best Commercial in the Whole Wide World…
Being an engineer I marvel at this ad. This is the best ad ever. Everybody gotta watch this well made well thought out ad….
This ad is a direct rip-off of the 1987 German film “Der Lauf der Dinge” (The Way Things Go). Over a half-hour of these effects, mostly with house-hold and junkyard materials instead of car parts.
One action leads to another, and another, … hundreds of times.
Buy it!
